The Forum features an all-metal globe base designed by Tom Torrens. The three round black-metal legs are supported and capped by tiered discs wrought from the same steel. Full-swing antique style brass-plated die-cast meridian (ring supporting the globe) allows the ball to be turned 360° for easy access to all 4100 points of interest from any possible angle. The 16" diameter fully up-to-date globe revolves within the meridian (East/West), and the meridian swings within the stand (North/South).
