The 16" diameter globe is held by a die-cast full-swing numbered meridian (metal ring holding the globe) mounted in a solid hardwood floor stand in walnut finish. The globe revolves within the meridian (East/West), and the meridian swings within the stand (North/South) for easy access to all 4000+ points of interest from any possible angle.
