The Solar Eclipse 12" diameter globe model depicts the paths of 68 total solar eclipses. The globe features the paths of every total solar eclipse in 21st century, from 2001 to 2100. Each eclipse track is labeled with a small yellow circle at the point where the duration is longest, along with the eclipse's date. Also included are the extremely thin paths of "hybrid" solar eclipses, which can appear total or annular depending on the observer's location along the path. The globe rests on top of a freestanding acrylic base, and can be picked up in order to examine any area of the map.
